Minecraft Halloween update is out.

So I put on some dramatic music that I thought would go well with opening my first portal and stared at the swirling purple entryway until the track finished, at which point I walked in. Immediately after exiting the portal on the other side I take two steps forward and immediately fall down a hole.

I lived, but OH GOD WHAT THE FUCK IS WITH THESE CREEPY SOUND EFFECTS ALL AROUND ME ITS COMING FROM THE WALLS THEY'RE PROBABLY GHASTS OH GOD THEY PROBABLY HAVE ME SURROUNDED HELP I'M GOING TO DIE HERE DON'T LET THEM GET ME I JUST GOT HERE I WANTED TO EXPLORE FOR A BIT AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH.

RIP "The Rise" (for now, maybe)

Woke up early this morning shortly after 4 am. My sleep schedule is pretty much shot to hell now, partially because of my bizarre work schedule, the concept of work/life balance seems to be unheard of at Safeway.

With that aside, lets move on to the meat of this post.

Power outage

Sitting in the dark right now, my power went out about ten minutes ago. It's been raining on and off over the past few days and now the wind is starting to pick up. Lovely.

The near complete silence in my room is creeping me out. I usually have something generating white noise in here at all times. Most of the time it's my computer, but I also have a small fan clipped to my bed's headboard (in b4 rude Koreans bring up Fan Death in the comments). The worst part about the lack of noise is this constant low-sounding ringing in my ears whenever it gets this quiet. There's probably a term for it, but I can't be bothered to look it up on my phone right now.

With that said; here's hoping that my power comes back on sometime soon. There have been times where inclement weather has knocked out the power to my entire neighborhood for days at a time and I sincerely hope this isn't one of them ;_;
